Nashville Design Week
Nashville, TN and Virtual | November 1–5
Originally founded in 2018 by four women in the city’s design community, Nashville Design Week has returned for its fourth annual series of curated workshops, lectures, panels and tours hosted by local creatives and geared toward both industry pros and everyday design fans. This year’s programming will be united by the theme of transition between the difficulties of the last year and a reinvigorated future, inspiring reflection through design. Kohler Living
Virtual | November 4–6
This livestreamed event will spotlight a range of new products amid conversations on the future of home featuring leaders in art, design, entertainment, culture and business—including recently announced surprise speakers Reese Witherspoon and Daniel Arsham. Attendees can tune in for discussions on topics like the intersection of art and craft, smart home innovations, and clean water accessibility for underserved communities, with guest speakers who include design influencer Shea McGee, Kohler Co. president and CEO David Kohler, and Komal Kotwal, HOK’s sustainable design leader for health, well-being and equity. The Other Art Fair

Presented by Saatchi Art, The Other Art Fair is geared toward art appreciators of all kinds—attendees spanning from first-time buyers to seasoned collectors and curators can browse thousands of pieces from more than 130 independent and emerging artists, with prices starting as low as $150. Held at the Brooklyn Expo Center, the fair’s upcoming edition will highlight the work of featured artist Anna Marie Tendler, whose new series “Rooms in the First House” includes original and limited-edition photographic works. Austin Design Week
Austin, TX, and Virtual | November 8–12
For the sixth annual edition of Austin Design Week, the city’s creatives are hosting free workshops, talks and presentations showcasing the best in design products and practices. Along with moderated conversations on a variety of subjects—including talent retention, the evolution of home design, and biophilic urbanism—the event will include the fifth annual Design-A-Thon, in which teams or individual creators can join in a competition to develop design-centric solutions to solve some of Austin’s biggest problems. Salon Art + Design
New York | November 11–15
The annual Salon Art + Design event celebrates its 10th anniversary with immersive programming and installations, along with a curated mix of historic and contemporary collectible design and fine art featuring an international exhibitor list. Held at the Park Avenue Armory, this year’s edition includes a series of special offerings, featuring large-scale architectural installations by New York–based ceramic artist Peter Lane, photographic wallcoverings by design house Trove, and luxury bespoke furniture by Italy-based studio Unica. NYCxDesign Festival and ICFF
New York | November 11–18
The annual festival held by NYCxDesign returns with hundreds of events—including gallery shows, collection releases, interactive workshops and educational programming—hosted at various locations across New York’s five boroughs. This year will also be the first in-person event since WantedDesign announced its partnership with the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in 2019—together, the organizations will produce a series of panel discussions, keynote presentations and conversations from November 14–15 at the Javits Convention Center, with speakers such as designer Dror Benshetrit, multidisciplinary artist and designer Ini Archibong and International Interior Design Association executive vice president and CEO Cheryl Durst.
