We are seeking a part-time Operations & Design Intern to support our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is exceptionally organized, dependable, and enthusiastic, with strong oral and written communication skills. You will work closely with our Operations Coordinator and Design Leads, assisting with administrative tasks and supporting day-to-day operations.
A strong interest in working with beautiful textiles and helping to create systems to organize and manage samples is highly valued. The ideal candidate will be excited to contribute to the development of an inventory management system that supports our design process and studio efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Operations Coordinator and Design Leads
Sample management: assist with receiving, filing, data entry, and returning
Scanning, filing, printing, emailing with vendors and service providers as needed
Support the creation and upkeep of an inventory management system
Assist with organizing correspondence, packages, and general office management
Ordering office supplies, stocking office kitchen
Contribute to studio organization and upkeep
Run errands and support logistical needs for the team and studio as needed
Offer some personal assistance to the company owner
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite; Familiarity with Studio Designer and Photoshop is a plus
Enthusiastic, trustworthy and self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude
Ability to present and communicate professionally with vendors as needed
Able to meet task deadlines
Enjoys working in a small, fast-paced office environment
Interest or experience in business operations, interior design, finance, or inventory management is a plus
