Pasadena Showcase House of Design
Pasadena, California | Through May 17

The Ticking Tent
New Preston, Connecticut | May 2
This curated shopping event welcomes more than 50 vendors from across the country, including Casa Branca, Eleish Van Breems, Philip Gorrivan Design, Dumais Made and Johanna Howard Home. Design on a Dime
New York | May 5
Celebrating its 21st anniversary, this annual shopping fundraiser has a new format: It is now one night only. The evening boasts curated shoppable vignettes assembled by 18 design firms, including Robert Stilin, Antonio DeLoatch, Blake Brunson, Everick Brown and Jason Saft. All proceeds benefit Housing Works, whose mission is to ensure people living with HIV/AIDS have access to quality health care and housing. For more information, click here.

HD Expo + Conference
Las Vegas | May 5–7
The premier destination for hospitality design, this annual conference connects designers of hotels, restaurants and resorts with representatives from more than 600 suppliers and 25 product categories. London Craft Week
London | May 11-17
This British festival brings together more than 1,000 established and up-and-coming artists, designers and galleries from across the globe, among them ceramist Alice Funge, textile maker Archana Pathak and furniture maker Clare Ng. In addition to the exhibits and tours that will take place throughout the city, the event includes talks and workshops, including one on the Singaporean art of nyonya beading. The Decorative Fair
London | May 12–17
This triannual fair unites over 130 dealers in antiques, fine and decorative art, and 20th century design in one place. Returning this spring to Battersea Park is The House Directory Live, a stage on the mezzanine that will feature daily demos and workshops with decorating suppliers and artisans. D&D Spring Market
New York | May 14
The Decoration & Design Building’s Spring Market showcases the latest collections from the luxury brands that call the center home. This year’s theme this year is “Design Forward,” and the one-day event includes product introductions, book signings and an afternoon cocktail reception. For more information, click here.

Design Intelligence: Reimagine the Future of Practice
Los Angeles | May 14–15
This two-day symposium hosted by Keith Granet features a lineup of speakers and panel discussions about AI, as well as a half-day workshop to help attendees implement the technology at their firms. Among the speakers are John Maeda, the vice president of design and artificial intelligence at Microsoft; Joseph Joseph, the principal and chief digital officer at Gensler; Leon Rost, a partner at Bjarke Ingels Group; and Brett Steele, the dean of the University of Southern California School of Architecture. NYCxDesign Festival
New York | May 14–20
The annual weeklong festival—which spans hundreds of exhibits and trade shows, as well as architecture and interior, urban and landscape design tours across the city—will welcome hundreds of thousands of attendees. This year’s events include SoHo Design Night on the 15th, when showrooms and home stores like Amura, Nordic Knots and GreenRow will debut new product launches and installations. 88 Madison Opening: Design Rooted in Craft
New York | May 15
Chicago- and New York–based Haute Living is celebrating the opening of its new Madison Avenue showroom, which carries more than 100 modern and contemporary European brands. The space boasts a collection of furniture, rugs and lighting from brands like Atelier Tortil, Van Rossum, Collett & Victor, Kooij, Youth Éditions and Mariantonia Urru. TEFAF New York
New York | May 15–19
The 11th edition of the celebrated Dutch art fair’s New York outpost takes over the Park Avenue Armory, showcasing dozens of art and furniture dealers and galleries from around the world—including the likes of Ben Brown Fine Arts, Galerie Jacques Lacoste and Mignoni—and featuring panels for industry professionals and art connoisseurs alike. Afternoon Light Design Fair
New York | May 16–19
Afternoon Light’s annual home and design market takes place during New York’s design week. The event will feature dozens of furniture, art and decor brands—including Resource Furniture, Rhyme Studio and Wallpaper Projects—as well as exhibitions, product launches and programming. ICFF & Wanted
New York | May 17–19
The International Contemporary Furniture Fair returns to the Javits Center for its 37th anniversary, with more than 450 global exhibitors showcasing contemporary furniture, accessories, lighting, textiles and more. Celebrating this year’s theme of “Common Ground: A Global Dialogue on Design and Shared Values,” more than 90 speakers will cover topics like artificial intelligence, affordable housing, healthier materials and design media. Wanted (formerly WantedDesign Manhattan) also offers a slew of programs, including a space called Launch Pad, which showcases emerging furniture, accessories and lighting designers, and Look Book, an in-person portfolio for industry members. Clerkenwell Design Week
London | May 19–21
The 15th edition of Clerkenwell Design Week boasts more than 600 showroom events, nearly a dozen curated exhibits, numerous installations, and a plethora of talks and programs that highlight leading interior brands across the globe. Field + Supply Spring Mrkt
Kingston, New York | May 29–31
Founded by interior designer Brad Ford, Field + Supply’s sixth annual market at Hutton Brickyards connects the design community with expert artisans for a shopping experience that spotlights 275 vendors, including Bolé Road Textiles, Arc Ceramics and Dean Babin Furniture, plus a wide variety of collections across apparel, home goods, furnishings, textiles, ceramics, lighting and art.
