Paris Design Week and Maison&Objet
Paris | September 10–19
Paris Design Week returns with programming by nearly 500 exhibitors throughout the City of Light, including open houses, studio tours, panel discussions and maker workshops. The festival’s largest event, the trade show Maison&Objet, celebrates its 32nd edition with presentations from more than 2,000 brands in the home, design and gift categories, as well as trend exhibitions for decor, retail and hospitality. London Design Festival
London | September 12–20
The annual show returns for its 24th iteration, where hundreds of international brands like Anthropologie, Fisher & Paykel, and Molteni&C exhibit furniture, materials and lighting for a global audience. Business of Home is teaming up with the Dallas Market Center for the second installment of the Business Accelerator Series. Hosted by editor in chief Kaitlin Petersen, the half-day workshop includes a conversation with BOH columnist Sean Low about establishing trust with clients, a talk with attorney Wendy Estela on a well-crafted contract, and a panel where three designers share how to master the client presentation. Fall Casual Market Atlanta
Atlanta | September 15–18
A destination for performance fabrics, patio umbrellas, fire pits, lighting and pool accessories, the autumn edition of this biannual market brings together more than 100 outdoor furniture and accessories vendors across multiple floors inside the AmericasMart. Atlanta | September 15–18
Hundreds of brands in the home and gift categories convene for this edition of the wholesale marketplace’s twice-yearly event, where attendees can check out educational seminars as well as peruse furniture, lighting, rugs and tabletop items from the likes of Ngala Trading, Made Goods and Vanguard Furniture. Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse New York
New York | September 15–October 13
Returning for its 51st edition, this annual showhouse brings together some of the country’s top interior designers to decorate spaces within a home. This year’s location is in Greenwich Village at 80 West Washington Place, where 22 firms—including Dunnam Zerbini Design, Eve Jean Interiors, Marmol Radziner, and Peter Dunham Design & Associates—will each transform a room. What’s New, What’s Next
New York | September 17
The annual event returns to the New York Design Center, exploring the latest products, trends and materials across a day of jam-packed programming. This year, there are three opportunities to connect with Business of Home: Editor in chief Kaitlin Petersen tackles hot-button industry issues with a trio of designer panelists primed to deliver hot takes about their business practices; executive editor Fred Nicolaus discusses AI adoption with designers who are at the forefront; and Petersen also sits down with Leaders of Design members to talk about mentorship that makes a difference. Atlanta | September 22–24

London Design Social
London | September 23–24
Design Social is popping up in London next month, connecting interior designers with the creators of the boutique brands they love. Representatives from dozens of bespoke textile, wallcovering, lighting and furniture companies will be on hand to mingle with guests at the Chelsea Old Town Hall, and visitors are invited to attend talks moderated by editors from House & Garden. Since 2004, the Interior Design Show Vancouver (formerly Design Vancouver) has showcased new products, designers on the rise and the latest trends in West Coast design. Brussels Design Week

In its 20th year, the growing design festival formerly known as Brussels Design September is set to exhibit works by more than 100 Belgian and international creatives across categories like furniture, arts and crafts, jewelry, ceramics, and tapestry. Attendees can participate in hands-on workshops or check out lectures and exhibitions that celebrate emerging talents and ideas at the forefront of contemporary design. Austria’s largest curated design festival has taken place in the capital city since 2007, hosting more than 40,000 visitors and hundreds of events.
