Sales & Customer Experience
● Support the senior sales team in achieving sales goals and delivering exceptional customer service.
● Welcome and engage customers, designers, and trade professionals with warmth, professionalism, and product
knowledge.
● Develop customer relationships and actively prospect new business.
● Assess customer needs and recommend products and complementary pieces.
● Manage sales from initial inquiry through completion, including follow-up on leads, quotes, orders, and customer
requests.
● Work with designers and end users on custom furniture orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
● Communicate custom order details clearly with the production team.
● Share product knowledge, new arrivals, special opportunities, and upcoming events with customers.
● Process sales, memos, exchanges, and transactions accurately and in accordance with company policies.
Sales Support & Operations
● Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email and create and manage customer requests.
● Perform accurate data entry and maintain customer and sales records.
● Prepare quotes, update spreadsheets, and assist with sales reporting and administrative projects.
● Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the showroom is clean, organized, stocked, and welcoming.
● Assist with product presentation, restocking, and other showroom needs.
● Collaborate closely with the General Manager, senior sales team, and internal departments to keep business
moving efficiently.
● Support showroom events, workshops, book signings, and other special activations.
● Take initiative, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
● Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
● 2+ years of sales experience, with a proven ability to achieve or contribute to sales goals.
● Experience in furniture, textiles, wallpaper, rugs, interior design, or related home furnishings strongly preferred.
● Strong data-entry, administrative, organizational, and multitasking skills.
● Experience with quotes, transactions, customer follow-up, and sales support.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills.
● Shopify and Google Workspace experience is a plus.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Warm, personable, and genuinely enjoys working with people.
● Passion for interior design, art, craftsmanship, and beauty.
● Resourceful, solution-oriented, and comfortable thinking outside the box.
● Self-motivated, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
● Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple moving parts.
● A college degree is a plus but not required.
● Weekend and event availability required.
