Allison Elebash Interiors is seeking an experienced Lead / Senior Designer to join our team in Charleston, South Carolina!

We are looking for a strong creative who can help lead large-scale, high-end residential projects with confidence and
carry a project from the early design stages through installation.
Our ideal candidate understands our aesthetic, has a deep understanding of residential interiors, and brings
experience across both furnishings and interior architecture. The role requires someone who is comfortable taking
ownership of a project while collaborating closely with our team, clients, architects, builders, and trades, with a strong
understanding of the construction process.
This is a full-time position based in Charleston, South Carolina, with the possibility of 1-2 remote days per week.

The Role:
• Help lead high-end residential projects from concept through installation
• Develop design concepts, furnishings schemes, and material palettes
• Source furniture, fabrics, lighting, rugs, art, antiques, finishes, and custom pieces
• Work on interior architecture, including lighting, millwork, cabinetry, tile, stone, plumbing, and finish selections
• Develop and refine space plans and furniture layouts
• Prepare polished client presentations
• Participate in client meetings and presentations
• Collaborate closely with architects, builders, contractors, vendors, and trades
• Attend site visits and help ensure design intent is carried through construction
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
• Coordinate with the AEID team on budgets, specifications, procurement, and installation
• Contribute to the creative development of projects while working closely with Allison and the broader design team

7-10+ years of high-end residential interior design experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated residential work
• Experience taking projects from early design through installation
• Experience with both furnishings and interior architecture
• Strong understanding of residential construction and detailing
• Excellent space-planning, sourcing, and presentation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple active projects
• Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of work
• Technical mastery: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Excel, with the ability to review and
collaborate on high-quality drawing sets, detailed furniture plans, complex custom detailing, elevations, and presentation
models, and to coordinate design information into architectural models.
• Experience with Studio Designer preferred

Beyond experience, we are looking for someone who brings excellent design judgment and attention to detail and
thrives in a collaborative studio environment.
The right candidate should be equally comfortable developing a furnishings scheme, reviewing a construction detail,
presenting to a client, and working through design challenges with the project team.
