Thornton’s Crossing is deeply woven into the story of Lacefield Designs—a family textile house rooted in tradition, creativity and a deep appreciation for the places that inspire us. Long the homestead of Beth Lacefield’s extended family, it was originally situated in Union Point, Georgia, before being thoughtfully relocated to Highlands, North Carolina. Its history, character and layered sense of place became the inspiration for Thornton’s Crossing, a collection that reflects the Lacefield approach to design: honoring the past while bringing something distinctly personal, timeless and new to life. Each pattern carries forward the spirit of a home shaped by family, memory and generations of living.
