Two years shy of its 125th anniversary, York Wallcoverings has named Brian Golden CEO. Having garnered years of experience at industry brands like USG Corporation, Hubbell Lighting and Litecontrol, Golden will now lead York’s global business and growth strategies.
Nathalie Remy is the new CEO of luxury tabletop maker Christofle. With more than 20 years of management experience at brands like McKinsey & Co., Remy brings her brand positioning and digital implementation know-how to the new role.
Sliding door manufacturer Sky-Frame has announced the promotion of Nic Neumann to CEO. Previously the company’s COO, Neumann will oversee the company’s North America, Canada and Caribbean Island divisions from the Culver City, California, office.
Chris Miller has been named president of Fine Furniture Design. He brings more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing, having formerly held positions at Rowe Fine Furniture and Four Hands.
Century Furniture has appointed industry veteran Chuck Auten to vice president of merchandising, where he’ll lead merchandising of the furniture company’s casegoods and outdoor divisions. Prior to the new role, Auten held executive positions at Sherrill Wood division and, most recently, furniture manufacturer Rochdale Spears.
Tomas Georgi joins the Mr Brown London and Julian Chichester teams as showroom manager in the duo’s New York Design Center showroom. Bringing previous experience from Sotheby’s, Palecek, Poltrona Frau and more, Georgi will make his debut with the brands at High Point Market.
Amy Preiser is now the director of brand marketing at SNOWE, the direct-to-consumer homewares brand. She was previously a freelance writer and digital strategist for various national home and lifestyle publications.
Virtual reality interior design app Modsy has named Sam MacDonnell as its CTO. In the wake of the company’s $23 million close in Series B funding, he will be responsible for strengthening the brand’s proprietary 3-D technology, as well as building upon the program’s current product offerings. MacDonnell, formerly the CTO at HotelTonight, will be based in Modsy’s San Francisco headquarters.

Former Elle Decor CRO Barbara Freidmann has been named vice president of brand relations at Dering Hall. She’ll be responsible for growing the design resource’s partnerships and custom content programs.
Kim Trepanier joins Editor at Large as marketing manager, overseeing brand marketing initiatives including the development of LAUNCH classes and other special collaborations. She was most recently with Fort Street Studio, and previously on the sales teams of Veranda magazine and Maya Romanoff’s Decoration & design building showroom.
Luxe Interiors & Design welcomes two new faces to its editorial team. Kathryn Given, formerly of the market teams at Architectural Digest and Hearst Design Group, has been named design and market editor, and will be working in the New York office. Mary Jo Bowling joins as homes editor, Colorado and San Francisco, following positions at Sunset magazine, California Home + Design and Curbed. Bowling will be based in San Francisco.
DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE
Los Angeles–based architecture and design firm Rios Clementi Hale Studios has promoted Jessamyn Davis to partner and COO. Having joined the firm in 2015 as its first CFO, Davis helped develop RCH’s infrastructure for sustainable and scalable growth. In the new role, she’ll oversee business operations and strategic planning.
Bennet Dunkley has been hired as a principal at New York–based architecture, interiors and planning firm HLW. Leading the firm’s education sector and overseeing project and client development will be among Dunkley’s tasks in his new role.
Interior architecture design firm Wilson Associates continues its European expansion. Monika Moser has been named managing director, Europe, based out of the Paris office. and Juan Carlos Rodriguez Artigas will join as design director for the firm’s new London office.
