Courtney Applebaum is hiring a Sales Associate for its Tribeca showroom. The Sales Associate hosts clients, manages the space, and oversees each order from quote to delivery.

Greet and host clients in the showroom, and manage the space as a client environment

Present the collection with knowledge of collection

Prepare and issue invoices

Track each quote from issue to purchase

Track all sales and orders in production, and allocate inventory and production to customers

Manage custom and long-lead orders through fabrication and delivery, and keep clients informed

Keep the showroom, samples, and inventory

Prior experience in a high-end or luxury customer-facing role

Existing knowledge of the furniture and design industry

Experience closing high-value sales, with a record of large single-item orders

Comfortable with face-to-face interaction at every level of client

Comfortable discussing price and payment terms, including deposits and balance schedules

Experience working with designers, architects, and clients' representatives

Working knowledge of fabrication timelines

Ability to manage client expectations on custom orders and delays

Coordination of delivery and white-glove installation, including building access, insurance, and scheduling

Fluent in POS and order-tracking systems

Discretion with client identities, projects, and purchases

Composed under demanding or last-minute requests, and self-directed
