Brooke Adler Interiors is seeking a self-motivated, organized and technically skilled Interior Design Associate to support high-end residential projects from design development through procurement, installation, and photography. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys contributing to both the creative and executional sides of a project and can manage responsibilities with exceptional attention to detail, initiative, and consistent follow-through.
The Interior Design Associate will work closely with the Principal Designer and Project Manager, with opportunities to assume greater design ownership as experience, judgment, and trust are demonstrated.
The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and highly attentive to detail. They bring a positive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented attitude to their work and are comfortable balancing creative design, technical documentation, procurement, and hands-on project support. They take ownership of their responsibilities, communicate early when questions or issues arise, respond well to feedback, and maintain a high standard of accuracy and professionalism during busy project phases.
This position is ideally full-time; however, a reduced or flexible schedule may be considered for the right candidate. We welcome experienced, highly productive professionals who may need schedule flexibility.
Minimum of 4 years of interior design industry experience in a similar role.
Interior design education or equivalent professional experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit or comparable drafting software.
Experience with procurement, order tracking, FF&E and vendor communication is a must.
Familiarity with Studio Designer or similar program is a plus.
Strong understanding of space planning, scale, proportion, furniture, fabrics, and finishes.
Experience with Canva and presentation development.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy across multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Reliable transportation for site visits, installations, vendor appointments, and photoshoots.
