Kamber Mason Design is a boutique residential interior design studio specializing in thoughtful, elevated interiors. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Interior Designer to join our growing team.
This position supports the Principal Designer across all phases of residential design, with a particular emphasis on furnishings, sourcing, and procurement.
As KMD expands its full-service furnishings offerings, this is an opportunity to help develop and lead this growing division, establish systems, cultivate vendor relationships, and shape the client experience.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Principal Designer on residential projects from concept through installation.
Develop floor plans, elevations, drawings, and design documentation using Chief Architect and other design software.
Source furniture, textiles, lighting, materials, finishes, and accessories aligned with project aesthetics and budgets.
Prepare design presentations, mood boards, material palettes, and specifications.
Work with the Operations Manager to coordinate procurement, including purchase orders, vendor communications, shipment tracking, and issue resolution.
Maintain organized project documentation, budgets, schedules, and procurement records.
Coordinate deliveries, workrooms, installations, and returns.
Conduct site visits for measurements, installations, punch lists, and project support.
Help establish systems and vendor relationships to support the growth of KMD's furnishings services.
Qualifications & Skills:
5+ years of residential interior design experience, with strong furnishings and procurement expertise.
Interior design degree preferred.
Thorough understanding of residential design from concept through completion.
Strong knowledge of space planning, color, lighting, materials, and furniture specifications.
Chief Architect proficiency required. ArchiCAD experience or willingness to learn preferred; 20/20 experience a plus.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
