Julie Hillman Design, an AD100 interior design firm specializing in high-end residential projects is seeking an experienced Interior Architect/Project Manager to join our team.
This role sits at the intersection of design and technical execution. You will manage projects from design development through construction and installation, producing precise documentation, coordinating technical details, and collaborating closely with Julie and the design team to develop and execute design intent. The role requires exceptional organization, communication, AutoCAD proficiency, and a meticulous eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple high-end residential projects across design development, documentation, construction, and installation
- Collaborate with the Principal and design team to develop and execute design intent
- Produce detailed AutoCAD drawing sets, including furniture plans, elevations, and interior schedules
- Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, consultants, vendors, and other project teams
- Lead project coordination, client, and site meetings; track follow-ups and deliverables
- Respond to RFIs and coordinate technical information during bidding and construction
- Develop client presentations, material palettes, and furniture plans as needed
- Source and coordinate FF&E, finishes, lighting, custom furniture, and other decorative elements
- Track project schedules, budgets, samples, quotes, invoices, and project documentation
- Oversee installations, managing vendors and suppliers to ensure all decorative elements are executed to the highest standard
