We're currently looking for a qualified, enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative for the Chicago Market. The Outside Sales Representative is central to strategic client relationships and is responsible for developing, strengthening, and maintaining them. They are accountable for driving overall territory market share and sales.
The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the interior design industry, including both residential design and the contract/hospitality market, and experience working with and servicing interior designers and architects.
The candidate must be able to work efficiently and communicate productively with a sales team while growing and monitoring sales and service. They must be detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, highly organized, and able to work independently and have excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
They should have a profound understanding and solid background in the to-the-trade sales of textiles, wallpaper, and trim. They should have proven experience in key account management and consultative selling.
The candidate must be proactive, enthusiastic, resourceful, and creative in searching for new business while servicing and maintaining the existing client base.
