Faith Blakeney Design Studio is a bespoke residential interior design studio featured in Architectural Digest and House Beautiful. We are seeking an experienced, highly organized Interior Designer / Design Associate to work directly with the principal, Faith. This is a part time position with approx 10-15 hours a week of work.

We’re looking for passionate and is equally comfortable with the creative, technical and organizational sides of the work.

You have a great eye, strong AutoCAD skills, residential design experience, and the ability to take direction and run with it.
You’re proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented and collaborative — and you actually enjoy keeping projects organized and moving forward.
This is a primarily remote position, but candidates must live in the Los Angeles area and be available for occasional site visits, showroom appointments, client meetings and installations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Create and revise AutoCAD floor plans, furniture plans, elevations and design documentation
- Source furniture, lighting, fabrics, rugs, art, accessories, fixtures and finishes
- Develop furniture layouts and assist with space planning
- Prepare client presentations, mood boards, FF&E packages and specifications
- Research pricing, availability and lead times; communicate with vendors and showrooms
- Assist with budgets, purchasing, order tracking and project documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, fabricators and other project partners
- Attend client meetings, site visits, showroom appointments and installations as needed

YOU
You have 3–5+ years of professional residential interior design experience, ideally in high-end residential, and can contribute immediately with minimal training.
AutoCAD proficiency is essential. Proficiency in Excel and Canva is also required; SketchUp/3D is strongly preferred.
You’re highly organized, resourceful, punctual and an excellent communicator. You’re comfortable working independently, collaborating without ego and interacting professionally with clients, vendors and trades.
You must be based in the Los Angeles area, have reliable transportation and your own laptop (MacBook preferred).
