Small interior design studio looking to thoughtfully expand. Studio Mae is deeply committed to creating beautiful, high-end residential spaces, and there is immense potential for long-term growth as the business continues to evolve. We are searching for someone organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely passionate about design- someone who brings a warm, positive energy and enjoys a hands-on, collaborative approach to everyday tasks. Alignment with Studio Mae's aesthetic is a plus.

9am-3pm Monday-Thursday

This position is created with flexibility in mind. It is ideally suited for an experienced residential design professional who is seeking parent-supportive hours or a part-time arrangement that respects personal and family life.

DESIGN SUPPORT:

- Assist in sourcing furniture, lighting, materials, and imagery; conduct thorough design research to align with project visions.

- Create visually compelling mood boards using Adobe InDesign.

- Utilize basic AutoCAD skills to assist with floor plans, layouts, and space planning.

- Draft RFQs for vendors, source fabrics and finish samples from the Pacific Design Center, and manage sample orders.

STUDIO SUPPORT:

- Input and manage project items in Studio Designer (prior experience is a plus, but we are fully willing to train the right candidate!). This is seen as an assisting nature in Studio, all procurement and accounting is handled by a different team.

- Maintain and curate the studio's fabric/material sample library and oversee the project inventory catalog.

- Maintain the master office calendar, manage project timelines, order office supplies, and keep studio operations running seamlessly.

- Run local design-related errands (fabric/sample pickups, client deliveries, site visits).

- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a proactive "can-do" attitude. Realistically a "type-A" personality.

- Educational background or practical experience in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (or strong visual layout skills).

- Familiarity with Studio Designer is helpful, but full training will be provided.

- Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD.
