New presidents at Jonathan Adler and Pottery Barn, a new leadership structure at Andmore, and more

From new leadership appointments to industry organization changes, read on for BOH’s monthly roundup of arrivals and departures in design, manufacturing, media and more.

Retail & Manufacturing
Williams-Sonoma Inc. announced the promotion of Jennifer Kellor to president of Pottery Barn. Kellor joined the company 29 years ago as an assistant buyer for the Pottery Barn catalog, and has been president of the Pottery Barn Kids and Teen brands since 2016. She succeeds Monica Bhargava, who had been with the company for 26 years.

Jonathan Adler has welcomed Alison Bergen as president. Bergen has been a strategic advisor with the company since 2023, and was also recently the president for retail brands like Area and Aerosoles.

Häfele America, the lighting and hardware solutions brand, appointed Olivier Vareille as president. He joins from heating systems company Viessmann North America, where he was president and chief executive officer, and succeeds Paul Smith, who retired in April after 15 years at the helm.

Modern furniture brand Thuma has welcomed Stefan Duban as its new president of merchandising, retail and B2B. Duban was previously at RH for 25 years, most recently serving as chief gallery and customer officer.

At Home announced Aaron Rose has been promoted to president and chief commercial officer. Rose joined the company in 2025 as CCO. The brand also announced CEO Brad Weston, who started at the company in 2024, would be retiring at the end of June.

Lixil Corporation, the water and housing products brand, hired Erin McCusker as its first chief impact officer. McCusker has been with the company since 2018, and was previously the leader at Lixil brand Sato.

Commercial furniture and interior solutions company Empire & Co. has appointed Andrea Boggs as vice president of sales in Atlanta, and Maddie Irwin as vice president of sales in New York. Prior to joining the company, Boggs was a South sales district manager for MDC Interior Solutions, and Irwin was an account executive at EvensonBest.

Bassett Furniture hired Clay Hanback as its new director of marketing. Hanback was the media, content and brand marketing leader at Wrangler before this.

Riverside Furniture announced the hiring of Lesli Chastain as senior director of
product development and merchandising. Chastain served more than 11 years at Magnussen Home Furnishings, most recently as vice president of creative.

Meridian Furniture named Mindy Marx head of project development for its new home accents division. She joins the brand from Creative Co-Op, where she was director of national accounts.

Uttermost has hired Frankie Daniel—creative director of Leftbank Art for the last 15 years—to manage the new Uttermost Art Studio, which creates art for the furniture company and its upscale Revelation brand. Also joining the Southern California studio are longtime Leftbank artists Josh Leiva and Dennis Leiva.

Tai Ping Carpets welcomed Kate Judd as managing director of the Americas for Tai Ping and Edward Fields. Judd joins after more than 13 years at The Rug Company, most recently as managing director of global partners and Middle East.

Modern Forms, a brand of WAC Group, appointed Brandi Gilliard as a regional sales manager for its smart fan division. Gilliard was previously a regional account manager with T&T Lighting Group in Georgia.

To the Trade
Havenly Brands has hired Maureen McGinnis as its new director of People & Culture. McGinnis spent the last two years at Flexential, where she was the manager for HR business partnerships.

Textile company Rebecca Atwood Designs hired two new trade sales representatives. Breann Lunghamer, a former sales associate at Studio Four NYC, is the new Northern sales rep for New York, Boston, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and surrounding territories. Hannah Wood, who was previously an operations manager at Avery Cox Design and a trade account manager at Blu Dot, is the Southern sales rep serving interior designers from Texas to Florida.

Design & Architecture
After 25 years as a founder-led practice, St. Romain Interiors, the Madisonville, Louisiana–based interior design studio and antique showroom created by Cindy St. Romain, has hired two senior designers, Heather Booth and Paula Trent.

Washington, D.C.–based architecture and design firm //3877 hired David Delcher as a senior associate. Delcher brings more than 30 years of experience, and was most recently a principal at BBGM A+I.

HKS has named Sergio Saenz as executive vice president and global director of its Place sector, which includes the design firm’s hospitality, mixed-use, mission critical, multifamily residential and senior living practices. Saenz was previously the company’s global leader of hospitality.

Media & PR
Elle Decor welcomed Stephen Wallis as its new features director. Wallis was previously a consulting features editor at Galerie, as well as a longtime freelance writer and editor.

ArchiPro, the New Zealand–based architecture and design platform that launched in the U.S. today, made two appointments for its American division: Kathryn Kerns as general manager, and Brittany Chevalier McIntyre as editorial director. Kerns was previously the director of global sales at StudioTwentySeven, while McIntyre was briefly an account director at Nylon Consulting after serving nine years at Luxe Interiors + Design, where she rose to executive editor.

Industry Organizations
Trade show and market center operator Andmore announced the creation of an executive committee to lead the company, a move that comes on the heels of the retirement of CEO Jon Pertchik last month. The committee includes president and chief operations officer Greg Avitabile, chief financial officer Robert Klein, chief human resources officer Ximena Juncosa, and the newly appointed chief revenue officer, Amory Wooden. In their expanded roles, the members will report directly to the Andmore board of directors, which includes executive chairman Bob Maricich and representatives from parent company Blackstone.

High Point x Design has announced its new board. Dawn Brinson, the founder and CEO of A New Day Creative Communications and Marketing, is president. She succeeds Carol Gregg, who will remain on the board. Other newly elected officers include Maurishka Pinedo of Cisco Home as vice president and Christina Payne of Visit High Point as membership chair. Ericka Saurit of Saurit Creative, Ricardo Siordia of Fifth Third Bank, and Gina Hicks and Laura Mensch of Vivid Interiors have all been appointed to the board as well.

The International Society of Furniture Designers announced Scott Coley, the owner of D. Scott Coley Designs, is returning as executive board president, succeeding Steve Wilcox. Coley has been a member of the organization for 34 years and served as board president from 1997 to 1999.

The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers has named Steve Polinski the organization’s first vice chair. Polinski is currently the chief product safety engineer and regulatory affairs officer at Miele USA, a brand he has been with for more than 25 years.

Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum announced the appointment of Michelle Millar Fisher as chief curator, effective July 13. She will succeed Matilda McQuaid, who is retiring from the museum after a 24-year tenure. Fisher joins from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, where she currently serves as the Ronald C. and Anita L. Wornick Curator of Contemporary Decorative Arts.
