Buzzy designers and brands join forces on a fresh crop of first-time collaborations debuting at High Point Market this fall.
Claudia Afshar x Baker
Furnishings brand Baker tapped Los Angeles designer Claudia Afshar to collaborate on a 37-piece collection inspired by the designer’s travels along the coast of Spain. For the assortment, Afshar put a contemporary spin on the elegance of European design, bringing the warmth and depth of rich woods and tactile textiles to a variety
of seating, tables, beds and case goods. Highlights include the Alma dining table, which features a cut-patterned tabletop and rich walnut veneer imbued with the spirit of the Mediterranean. (319 N. Hamilton St.)
Molly Kidd x Everhem
Oregon-based designer Molly Kidd’s first collection for Everhem taps into a world of European romance, complete with heirloom lace and details like piping, tassels, tie-backs and tailored pleats. Kidd’s idea for the collection was to create a capsule wardrobe of sorts for windows, supplying designers with all they need to outfit an entire home’s windowcoverings—from drapery to café curtains, fixed curtains and Roman shades. The concept resulted in standouts including five soft, tonal fabrics (three linens and two sheers), along with valance drapery featuring Everhem’s newly launched track hardware system. Amy Studebaker x Jessica Charles
As Jessica Charles’s 2026 Design Ambassador, St. Louis–based designer Amy Studebaker spent Spring Market bringing her layered design approach to the brand’s High Point showroom. For Fall Market, she’s doing one better: debuting their new furniture collaboration. The introduction—which includes lounge and swivel chairs, benches, sofas, and a bed—melds her timeless, livable aesthetic with the comfort and craftsmanship of Jessica Charles pieces. Kate Marker x Mitzi
This year, Mitzi—a Hudson Valley Lighting Group brand—named Kate Marker as the newest inductee to its Tastemakers program, resulting in a 25-SKU collection. Marker’s design philosophy centers on crafting a home that tells the story of its inhabitants, and all of her new pieces for Mitzi are named for loved ones. The Illinois designer’s aesthetic approach also comes through clearly in the collection, which features natural materials, rich textures and timeless silhouettes. Heather Chadduck x Bassett Furniture
Together with decorator, textile designer and photo stylist Heather Chadduck Hillegas, Bassett has introduced a new 30-piece furniture collection, available in an array of five finishes and 70 in-line fabrics. A former designer in residence at Colonial Williamsburg—where she reimagined the interiors of the village’s oldest dwelling—Chadduck Hillegas embraces design that is firmly rooted in traditional aesthetics and infused with a fresh sense of elegance. In keeping with that ethos, her debut collection for Bassett incorporates many styles she has searched for when sourcing for her own clients, including antique bamboo beds and a classic English roll-arm sofa with a waterfall skirt. The paint finishes (blue, green and white) are all favorites at the designer’s Alabama studio, and the honey and dark walnut stains are reminiscent of those found in vintage English pieces. Allison Paladino x Chaddock
Palm Beach designer Allison Paladino teamed up with Chaddock on an array of living, dining and bedroom pieces that borrow from the French art deco movement—particularly the era’s geometric faceted veneers. The collaborators played with starburst, checkered and concentric square patterns, rendered in elegant quartersawn oak set against maple. The color palette, meanwhile, comes from Lanzarote, a volcanic island in the Canaries, whose white houses, black volcanic rock and sharp green vegetation act as source material. Highlights include the Snyder game table, a wooden marvel boasting a clipped-corner square top, a pull-out drinks tray, and hand-turned ball-and-ring legs; and the upholstered Peter swivel chair with quartersawn oak edges. Paloma Contreras x L&M Custom Carpets
Alongside L&M Custom Carpets, Houston-based designer Paloma Contreras has debuted a bold new rug collection encompassing five stand-alone designs and five border patterns. The assortment, on display at Woodbridge Furniture, features an array of new styles in New Zealand wool—like the geometric Germain Fret—and are all fully customizable in size, shape and color. AMDL Circle x Gloster
In ancient Greek mythology, Ithaca was a place Odysseus longed to return to after years of journeying—an enduring symbol of homecoming, peace and renewal. That’s the spirit behind the debut collaboration between Gloster and AMDL Circle, the studio founded by Italian architect and designer Michele De Lucchi. The Ithaca collection—which consists of a lounge chair, an ottoman, a coffee table, a side table, and a large and a small sofa—serves as a celebration of the natural beauty of solid teak as well as the talents of Gloster’s craftspeople. “Design is always a voyage,” says De Lucchi. “You depart with an idea; you navigate through doubts, discoveries and unexpected turns, guided by material, craft and intuition. With Ithaca, we embraced that metaphor—the spirit of adventure.” (313.Space, Suite 215)
Nikki Chu x Quorum
L.A.- and Dallas-based designer Nikki Chu has developed a reputation for crafting bold, eclectic interiors inspired by the fashion realm, and her new lighting collection for Quorum is no exception. The eight-piece assortment incorporates glass, leather and hammered metal in a refined, monochromatic palette. Even better, several of the fixtures can be installed in multiple orientations and configurations, affording designers greater creative freedom to suit their artistic visions.
