Rees Roberts & Partners is seeking a senior designer with experience in high-end residential design. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5+ years proven experience in high-end residential interiors. The role is full time and based in Tribeca. Overtime is occasionally required to meet project deadlines.
An ideal candidate will enhance our studio culture with design references, technical resources, and leadership. We’re searching for someone who possesses exceptional creative talent and technical ability, is self-motivated, and can collaborate seamlessly with other designers, clients, fabricators, and artisans.
• 5 years professional experience in design and implementation on residential projects
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Studio Designer, Adobe Creative Suite required
• Knowledge of Sketchup, Rhino and other 3D or rendering software a plus
• Knowledge of the full design process from Design through Installation
• Strong graphic presentation skills
• Knowledge of codes and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the immediate design team and studio
