Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to work with alongside our procurement & design teams to provide design, administrative, and project related support.
Responsibilities may vary depending upon applicant’s skill level, but ideally include:
• Design assistance
o Assist on creating & maintaining project budgets, tear sheets, specification packages, and presentation materials.
o Organize and maintain project material trays, during and post project completion
o Schedule and oversee vendor site measures, walkthroughs, deliveries, etc.
• Procurement support
o Issue submittal forms, quote requests, CFA/DFA/SFA requests, order trackers
o Follow up with design team for outstanding product specifications
o Continuous communication with vendors to ensure all orders meet project schedules
o Assist with shipping and deliveries coordination, project installations

• Office administration
o Manage fabric and materials libraries, including meeting with new and existing vendors to keep sampling up to date
o General studio upkeep, order office supplies
o Assistance on miscellaneous office and project tasks and errands

Job Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree (Interior Design preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Studio Designer, MS Office, Excel, Power Point, Photoshop, InDesign, familiar with Auto CAD.
• Driven, self-motivated and takes ownership of projects from start to finish
• Able to see potential problems in advance and bring creative solutions to the table
• Highly-organized, with excellent time management skills
Desired Skills and Qualifications
• Full-time professional experience in high-end residential design
• Knowledge of the NYC furnishings and trade market, or a willingness and interest in learning
