Honey Collins Interiors, a high-end residential interior design firm in Boston and Atlanta seeks a detail-oriented and technically skilled Project Manager/Interior Designer to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position is for our Boston or Atlanta office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience at an interior design firm.
Duties will Include:
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workflow, and meet deadlines through installation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of detail, organization, and professionalism
-Create and manage project budgets, schedules, installation timelines, and project to-do lists
-Prepare materials; schedule and attend client meetings and site visits
-Provide weekly status updates on all projects
-Create and maintain paint, lighting, plumbing, hardware, and tile schedules for contractors
-Produce furniture plans and elevations in AutoCAD or Revit
-Create RFQs for custom furniture and window treatments
-Assist Principal in sourcing furniture, fabric, hardware, lighting, antiques, and accessories
-Prepare proposals and purchase orders in design program
- Review and redline shop drawings
- Represent firm at meetings with architects, contractors and vendors

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years experience in a high-end residential design firm
-Must have excellent skills in AutoCAD or Revit
-Must be very detail-oriented, exceptionally organized, and possess excellent follow-through skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
-The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a natural problem-solver
-4-year degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture preferred
-Experience designing, drawing, and producing custom furniture, millwork, lighting
- Knowledge of Ivy or similar program for creating proposals, purchase orders and invoices
-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and Dropbox
-Extensive knowledge of fabric, furniture, lighting vendors, etc.
-We are seeking a qualified candidate who lives in Boston or Atlanta
