You’ll be involved in every aspect of the design process—from concept development to project management—giving you the chance to make a significant impact on each project.
If you love creating custom interiors that blend beauty, comfort, and functionality, this is the perfect role for you. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with a passionate team, manage relationships with top-tier vendors, and work on some of the most exclusive properties in New York City.

Job Requirements

What You’ll Do:
Design Execution: Collaborate with the Lead Designer to execute project vision through presentation development, custom furniture designs, millwork details, and construction documents.
Project Documentation: Own the drawing and project documentation process from initial field measurements through to final construction documents.
Conceptual Design: Create 2D & 3D design concept studies/sketches and develop comprehensive construction sets.
Sourcing: Research and source furniture, lighting, fabrics, wallpapers, and finishes—balancing both budget and aesthetic requirements.
Project Installation: Plan and oversee installations, including receiving and inspecting deliveries, coordinating punch lists, finalizing details, and documenting finished projects for internal records.
Technical Drawings: Develop furniture plans, custom furniture drawings, elevations, details, reflected ceiling plans, and power plans.
Vendor Coordination: Communicate with vendors to obtain technical information, quotes, and estimates, and oversee fabrication to ensure accuracy.
FF&E Management: Manage all vendor relationships, oversee the creation of FF&E documents, review controls, CFAs, and DFAs with the Project Lead, and ensure that all fabrication is precise.
Project Management: Balance priorities across multiple projects, ensuring that all deadlines are met and proactively managing any challenges that arise.
