NYC high-end residential interior design firm is currently seeking a passionate, experienced Interior Designer with 3+ years of Interior Design experience to oversee all design-related tasks from conception to completion. Ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and will have concrete knowledge of interior design project management, thrive in a fast paced environment and be able to move projects forward while supporting the Principal.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Highly proficient in autoCAD
• Produce detailed drawings of room layouts, elevations, millwork, custom furniture and lighting plans in AutoCad
• Manage all phases of design projects under the supervision of Principle
• Assist in assembling design presentations to communicate design intent
• Sourcing FF&E and architectural materials and finishes
• Create lighting, plumbing, tile, paint and finish schedules
• Coordinate deliveries per project
• Create and monitor project budgets
• Manage and resolve issues with contractors, vendors and clients
- organize and accept deliveries for installs
At least 3 years post graduate experience in high end interior design
Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
Completion of at least two high end luxury residential projects in the US from beginning to end
Knowledge of Luxury Design, Finishes, Furniture, Materials, and Manufacturers
Mastery of AutoCAD and Photoshop
Thrive in a high paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
