Job Description

Meagan Camp Interiors is seeking a full-time Interior Designer/Project Manager to join our boutique Brooklyn-based team to support the principal. The Designer will be part of the entire design process in designing mid to high end residential spaces—from concept development and drafting to sourcing, presentations, and installation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player who is comfortable wearing multiple hats as we’re a small studio.

This is a freelance position with flexibility and a combination of in-person and remote work. Candidate must be available between 10am - 7pm.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Create floor plans and elevations
Sourcing
Design Presentations
Purchasing and Procurement including approvals from clients
Delivery scheduling
Showroom visits with clients
Site visits during construction and installs
Manage budgets, schedules and approvals
Communicating with vendors and getting quotes

SKILLS
5+ years in a residential design firm
High level of CAD fluency required – floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations, custom furniture
Experience in historic homes
Experience sourcing and specifying
Strong organizational skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong space planning skills
Must be a team player
