As a Design/Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design team with project coordination, sourcing, documentation, and client presentations. You will assist in maintaining smooth workflow and communication between designers, vendors, and clients while ensuring projects stay on track. This role includes content creation, social media management, email campaigns, event planning and supporting overall marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities-Design
Design Support & Project Coordination:
Assist in developing design concepts and mood boards
Source materials, furnishings, and finishes while tracking lead times and pricing.
Research new vendors, trends, and innovative materials.
Assist and coordinate requests of floor plans, elevations, and renderings
Assist photo and site measure
Project & Administrative Assistance:
Manage and organize project documentation, proposals, and budgets.
Request material samples and pick up and drop off materials as needed
Assist with order tracking, vendor communication, and delivery scheduling.
Coordinate and schedule client meetings, site visits, and installations.
Client paint schedule and maintenance packet
Update (project management tool) with project milestones and tasks.
Client & Team Collaboration:
Take detailed meeting notes and update client profile.
Assist in styling and staging during photoshoots or final project installations.
Provide excellent client service with professionalism and responsiveness.
Marketing
Content Creation, Social Media Management and Engagement
Assist in developing and schedule engaging content for Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Facebook to showcase design projects and industry expertise.
Must have 3-5 years interior design experience and passion to grow within the business
Must live in Chicago or the surrounding suburbs
Must have a vehicle- this is a remote hybrid position
