Mark D. Sikes is OKL’s latest partner

The World of Mark D. Sikes has launched at One Kings Lane, offering a complete range of the interior designer’s pieces: his Henredon furniture, Merida rugs, Schumacher pillows, and MDS Stripes scarves and bags, as well as a selection of his own vintage finds. It’s the second initiative of its kind; last year, OKL launched a Ralph Lauren Home partnership designed to offer an exclusive of the brand’s fall collection.

It was a right fit for the e-commerce site for a number of reasons, according to OKL president Debbie Propst. “We have been big fans of Mark D. Sikes for quite some time here at One Kings Lane—from his inspiring interior design work to his thoughtfully curated collection of furnishings and accessories and our mutual love of all things blue and white! After a successful partnership last summer having a dedicated Mark D. Sikes for Henredon vignette in our Southampton shop, we couldn’t be more thrilled to take our ongoing relationship to the next level this summer and launch the World of Mark D. Sikes on One Kings Lane, his most complete online collection. We are excited to not only give customers unparalleled access to Mark’s major product lines, including furniture for Henredon and rugs for Merida, but also exclusive vintage finds handpicked by Mark that they won’t be able to find anywhere else.”

OKL expects the vintage finds to be particularly popular, as well as the collaboration’s art, pillows and furniture. Each of those newly made items hews to both the brand’s and Sikes’s aesthetics, in addition to the designer’s own “four pillars,” which embody the California neighborhoods of Pacific Palisades, Montecito, Brentwood and Bel Air.

“One Kings Lane has always been a great resource for me in my design business,” Sikes tells Business of Home. “When the opportunity came up to bring my product lines together into one place, such as Henredon and Schumacher, I was really excited. I have always shown my lines mixed together at market, but now it’s more readily available for customers to purchase. The opportunity to bring the World of Mark D. Sikes into a one-stop shop is something I’ve always wanted to do, and I’m happy and grateful I got to do it with One Kings Lane!”
