SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Creative Director operates at a strategic level, by shaping a brand narrative. This position will ensure close alignment between marketing, merchandising and sales to meet business objectives. This role will set the visual direction in a luxury landscape for the US market. Builds commercial viability, long term brand equity balancing influence and integrity.

• Partner with Design to shape storytelling and go to market plans.
• Develop an aligned messaging campaign across digital, social, public relations, in showroom experience and promotional events.

MERCHANDISING DIRECTION
• Curate visual displays.
• Direct the full life cycle process for collections – launch to discontinued.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and execute a comprehensive product sampling process.

BRAND EXPERIENCE
• Brand consistency and elevation through all channels
• Lead creative vision for installations, events, standards
• Measure strategy ROI and sales performance

TEAM LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATION
• Build and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team
• Develop a dynamic cross functional collaboration between design, sales, merchandising and marketing.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 7 year’s of creative experience developing and executing strategic marketing and/or merchandising plans.
• Minimum 5 years of managing a team.
• Degree / certifications in relevant fields of study / disciplines – Marketing, Merchandising, commercial design, creative brand strategy, ecommerce.
• Advanced professional experience with Adobe Creative Suite: Acrobat, InDesign, Premier Pro, Illustrator, photoshop, Asana, Teams, Analytics.
• Experience creating digital content, media, production, communication and branding.
• Proven record of navigating complexities, priorities, deadlines.
• Highly developed project management and organization skills
• Elevated creative judgment and functional expertise with developing comprehensive and dynamic campaigns.
• Experience working in interior design and luxury is highly desirable.
• Build and maintain strong and collaborative relationships across the organization.
