We are a Los Angeles, CA-based, designer-led boutique furnishings, lighting, and accessories brand catering to a national audience of interior designers and discerning end-users. We have a robust production arm, which focuses on a customizable, domestic made-to-order collection as well as a stocked overseas collection. We are looking for a qualified and dynamic Furniture Production Manager.
• Lead and manage the production schedule of locally made furniture.
• Manage the production schedule of furniture made overseas.
• Strategically plan and prioritize production based on showroom and client needs as well as sales trends.
• Weekly report to team of production readiness, product availability and any changes to products.
• Regular vendor visits to ensure timelines are met, quality control and details such as size, upholstery, wood finish are correct.
• Keep track of and negotiate production costs with vendors to ensure they remain within scope.
• Lead quality control effort of all furniture and manage/remedy issues as necessary.
• Collaborate with ownership and handle all production related responsibilities of new product development.
• Seek new vendors to drive production cost down without sacrificing high standard of quality.
• Assist sales team in resolution of customer related production questions and issues. Take lead when necessary.
• Advise management team on current needs and future purchases based on sales history and assortment.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of all employees located at the warehouse.
• Manage warehouse location in collaboration with employee at the warehouse and sales team – including but not limited to pickups and deliveries, identify stale product to be liquidated, schedule and manage moving teams to keep warehouse organized.
• Manage delivery of product and regular small deliveries – collecting all relevant paperwork, invoices, protect inventory during storage and organize for pickup when notified.
• Other related duties and responsibilities assigned as needed.
