Dynamic high-end Tribeca residential Interior Design firm seeks experienced Full time Intermediate Architectural Designer.
Candidates Responsibilities: Assist the project manager/Senior Designer in the preparation of design and detailed drawing sets including millwork details and interior construction details. Assist in the creation and compilation of specification schedules and spreadsheets. Assist with Construction Administration, including taking site/ meeting notes, drawing construction sketches, and issuing meeting minutes. Assist the Project Manager/ Senior designer throughout the project, maintaining project schedules. Manage small projects and tasks independently. Collaborate with vendors, consultants, contractors and clients.
We are seeking a talented, organized team player with extensive drafting, strong interpersonal, communication, writing, and organizational skills.
Applicants must possess an interest in and the ability to work with a fast paced team and take direction, collaboratea and be detailed oriented. The candidate must be a good listener with strong follow through skills with flexibility to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proficiency in AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch up, or rendering software is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 4-5 years experience at an architecture or interior design office (residential experience preferred).
