Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented **Interior Designer** to join our team and support residential and commercial projects from initial concept through installation. The ideal candidate has a strong design sensibility, excellent technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple project details while collaborating closely with the Principal, clients, vendors, architects, and consultants.

**Responsibilities:**

* Prepare polished client presentations, design packages, concept boards, and mood strategies.
* Develop design concepts and successfully carry them through all phases of project execution.
* Identify, select, source, and specify architectural materials, finishes, products, fixtures, furnishings, and vendors.
* Maintain a strong working knowledge of architectural materials, products, manufacturers, and vendors.
* Produce technical and construction documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, architectural details, and custom millwork details that clearly communicate design intent.
* Produce construction documents that support and accurately represent approved design concepts.
* Create presentation visuals and design imagery using Photoshop and other design software.
* Assist the Principal throughout all phases of a project, from proposals and initial concepts through procurement, installation, and final delivery.
* Assist with space planning, drawing, detailing, and design development to ensure successful project completion.
* Produce and review project proposals, specifications, schedules, and supporting documentation.
* Coordinate architectural and interior design details across project teams.
* Collaborate and coordinate with architects, contractors, fabricators, and outside consultants throughout all project phases.
* Communicate and correspond professionally with vendors, showrooms, manufacturers, and other project partners.

* Candidate must reside in **New York City or the surrounding area** and be available to work in a **hybrid environment, both in-office and remotely**.
* **3–5 years of professional interior design experience**, with a focus on high-end residential and/or commercial interiors.
* **Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field**.
* Highly proficient in **AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop**.
* Strong understanding of construction documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, details, and millwork drawings.
* Knowledge of interior and architectural materials, finishes, furnishings, and vendors.
* Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent creative, visual, and presentation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure, produce accurate deliverables, and meet project deadlines.
* Proactive, productive, and collaborative attitude with a willingness to contribute as part of a team.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to communicate professionally with clients, vendors, architects, contractors, consultants, and other project partners.
* Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative while also receiving direction and feedback.
