Multi product line rep needed to cover Massachusetts and Rhode Island. There is no overnight travel necessary other than a trade show in NC every April and October. This is a 1099 commission earning position, rep pays all their own vehicle expenses and travel expenses to NC in Apr/Oct. The territory has multi million dollar book of business. There will be plenty of training. Products presented are from industry leading manufacturers of fabric, wallpaper, art, lighting, rugs and furniture.
The job requires maintaining a steady schedule of meetings with interior designers to show the seasonal collections of products, email management, product research, order submission and sample book management. Physical mobility (sample bags can get heavy) and a good vehicle are needed. Industry experience is required along with a basic knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products. College degree is recommended but not required.
