Curtis & Windham Architects is seeking an Interiors Coordinator to join our collaborative design team. This position is suited to a design-minded professional who can carry an interior project from concept through installation, while understanding and contributing to the aesthetic language of the firm.
The Interiors Coordinator will work closely with the architectural teams to thoughtfully select furnishings, fixtures, finishes, and source architectural elements. We are looking for someone with strong design judgment who can confidently make design decisions, develop presentations and budgets, manage procurement, and oversee installation with a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
-Develop interior furnishings, finishes, and decorative selections that complement and reinforce the architectural design.
-Interpret architectural drawings to ensure furnishings and finishes are appropriately integrated with the overall design.
-Develop design presentations, specifications, and budgets for client review and approval.
-Coordinate with clients, vendors, manufacturers, artisans, and trades throughout the design and procurement process.
-Manage procurement, including obtaining quotes, placing orders, tracking lead times, and coordinating deliveries.
-Maintain project budgets and communicate changes, selections, and cost implications clearly.
-Follow projects through installation, ensuring furnishings and decorative elements are executed as designed.
-Assist with and, when appropriate, oversee installations and final placement of furnishings and accessories.
-Maintain a high level of organization and communication across multiple projects and phases.
-Maintain the aesthetic standards and design philosophy of Curtis & Windham Architects.
Qualifications
-5+ years of professional experience in residential interior design, with demonstrated experience carrying projects from design development through procurement and installation.
-Strong design sensibility and an appreciation for traditional architecture, interiors, craftsmanship, and materials.
-A keen eye for proportion, scale, color, materiality, and detail.
-Experience developing client presentations, budgets, and procurement documentation.
-Experience working with vendors, showrooms, manufacturers, and trades.
-Strong organizational and project management skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-A collaborative and proactive approach to working with clients and colleagues.
-The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
