RL Home announces new president, closes D&D Showroom

Big news from Ralph Lauren Home. The company has appointed a new president, Day Kornbluth, who was formerly chief digital officer of RH. This news follows the departure of former global brand president William Li and executive vice president and chief creative retail officer Alfredo Paredes. The brand will also close its New York showroom in the D&D Building on February 15.

“As we look to build the future for the Home business and deliver on our Next Great Chapter plan, Day brings deep expertise in digital and driving targeted expansion. We are delighted to have her on board,” the company said in a statement. Kornbluth spent more than two years at RH, where she was responsible for the company’s digital strategy. Before that, she spent six years at One Kings Lane in a variety of roles, leaving as chief merchandising officer.

Following the closure of its D&D showroom, RL Home plans to handle trade business directly from its corporate office. The company has plans to announce a new showroom later this year.
