DIFFA Annual Gala: Midnight Masque

The Design Industries Foundation’s annual gala brings together the leaders of the design world in support of the organization’s mission to combat HIV/AIDS and food and housing inequalities and support mental health initiatives. The night includes cocktails, dinner and student design installations. This year honors the Angelo Donghia Foundation for its commitment to the DIFFA Student Design Initiative—a project that provides rising designers with experience and mentorship. Paris Art + Design, which was created in 1998, is set to take place at the Tuileries Garden. The Leaders of Design 2025 Annual Conference

Salone del Mobile.Milano

The 63rd edition of Milan’s Salone del Mobile will be held at Fiera Milano Rho. The event will feature hundreds of exhibitors, such as Arper and Dedon, and thousands of products for the 370,000-plus visitors who attend each year from 188 different countries. Events this time around include a master class by Dutch solar designer Marjan van Aubel on solar energy in lighting design, and a conversation on the future of architecture with Valeria Segovia, principal and design director at Gensler London. Design Social is headed to Texas this month, connecting interior designers with the artisans and entrepreneurs behind boutique brands from around the country. International Window Coverings Expo

Since 1986, IWCE has been the only trade show and conference dedicated to windowcovering professionals. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, this annual event boasts curated rooms of shoppable home decor put together by some of the country’s top interior designers. Kansas City Symphony Designers’ Showhouse

The setting for the showhouse’s 55th iteration is a home built around 1906 in Kansas City’s Roanoke Historic District. It features rooms designed by 24 local firms, including Will Brown Interiors and Susan Heitmann Design. The 2025 Lake Forest Showhouse & Gardens
Lake Forest, Illinois | April 26–May 25
The 20th-anniversary Lake Forest Showhouse takes place in Pembroke Lodge, a 1895 home designed by architect Henry Ives Cobb, who is known for his work on the Union Club of Chicago, the Chicago Athletic Association Building and more. A roster of 45 interior and landscape designers—including Randy Heller, Anthony Michael and Katy Evans—will transform the house. This year’s honorary chair is celebrated designer Mary McDonald, who will sit in conversation with Dara Caponigro, Frederic editor in chief and Schumacher chief creative officer. Coverings

Coverings is one of the largest ceramic tile and natural stone fairs in the country, featuring over 1,000 exhibitors, including Breton, Ceramics of Brazil and Deccan Stones. Along with exhibitors from 40 countries, the event will host educational and keynote presentations like the “ABCs of Sustainability” by Bill Griese, deputy executive director of the Tile Council of North America.
