• Coordinate and collaborate with teammates throughout project.
• Develop design concepts for projects based on design direction.
• Assist with programming and space planning.
• Develop design presentations including mood boards, floor plans, sketches, 3D views, and finishes and furniture selection to support design concepts.
• Conduct research and source materials, finishes and furnishings to support design concepts and meet project requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Vendors.
• Create Interior Finishes specifications and develop of millwork and architectural details.
• Implement redlines to drawing files as directed by others.
• Participate in weekly project coordination calls.
• Understand client guidelines for design, drawings, and specifications.
• Assist in production of construction documents, specifications, and detailed drawings.
• Demonstrate knowledge of codes, standards, and accessibility guidelines.
• Provide construction and installation administration support.
• Expectation to work on multiple projects in various stages.
• Travel may be required.

• Architecture OR Interior Design Degree; LEED certification or NCIDQ encouraged.
• Experience with at least one of the following project types: Hotels, Condo Developments, F&B, High end Private Residential.
• 3-5 years of experience
• Knowledge of Meyer Davis design standards and aesthetic.
• Organized with clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Understand project phases and deliverables.
• Base proficiency of software standards: AutoCAD, Adobe Suites, Microsoft Suite, DesignSpec, Revit and BIM 360.
• Ability to communicate design intention through 3D modeling (Sketch-up, Rhino, 3DSMax, Revit)
• Experience with rendering programs (Enscape, D5, Lumion, VRay)
• When applicable, develop purchase orders, coordinating with vendors and client and organizing all relevant correspondence.
