Company:
Ligne Roset
Duration:
Full-time
Date Posted:
09/22/26
Category:
Sales & Marketing
Location:
New York
Salary:
50-100k
The role:
You will be an important part of our Park Avenue South Flagship Showroom sales team, working with both retail clients and the design trade. Your primary focus will be creating exceptional client experiences, developing sales, and guiding clients through the Ligne Roset collection to find the right products for their homes.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about design, enjoys building relationships, and wants to develop their sales skills while learning about luxury furniture and design. You will work closely with the showroom team and have the opportunity to grow your retail and trade business over time.
What you will do:
• Learn the Ligne Roset collection, materials, finishes, and custom capabilities. Develop a strong understanding of what our factories can and cannot do, as product knowledge is the foundation of credibility with clients.
• Welcome and assist retail clients in the showroom, understand their needs, and guiding them through the selection and purchasing process.
• Follow up with showroom visits, inquiries, leads, and existing clients to generate sales.
• Develop relationships with residential interior designers and architecture firms within your territory. Introduce them to the Ligne Roset brand, collections, and full offerings through showroom visits, office presentations, and outreach.
• Support retail and trade projects from initial concept through completion, including product selection, fabric and finish choices, quotations, order entry, production updates, delivery coordination, and follow-up after installation.
• Provide measuring, floor-planning, and furniture-selection support.
• Participate in trade shows, showroom events, and design industry events.
• Take responsibility in resolving client and service issues, working closely with the appropriate internal teams.
• Maintaining an inviting, organized, and friendly showroom environment.
• Work within all company policies and guidelines.
What you bring:
• Four or more years selling in the luxury interiors or trade market, with a record you can demonstrate against a number.
• An existing relationship base in the New York design community, or clear evidence that you can build one quickly.
• Comfort with cold outreach. You will need to open doors, not only service them.
• Working knowledge of specification, quotation and order processes for made-to-order furniture.
• Fluency with CRM systems, and the discipline to keep it current.
• Interest and competence in interior design, floor planning, materials and color.
• Precise written and spoken communication.
• Organization, ability to manage projects at different stages at the same time.
• Curiosity and willingness.
