Sherwood Kypreos is seeking a full time Project Coordinator to join our team. The Project Coordinator will oversee the logistics and administration of all phases of our design projects. The candidate for this position must be organized, proactive, and able to prioritize and anticipate what is needed to move projects forward.
Position Duties/Description:
- Producing specification documents
- Purchasing goods and tracking orders
- Sourcing materials and procuring samples
- Creating project budgets and keeping ongoing project accounting up to date
- Taking and distributing detailed meeting notes
- Making site visits and coordinating vendors and deliveries on site
- Planning project installations and overseeing installations on site
- Using project management software
Skills and Experience:
- Forward-facing, with ability to communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and contractors
- Organized and detail-oriented; diligent in follow-through
- Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Be able to read and comprehend architectural drawings
- Experience in design project coordination or management
- Experience working in an interiors, architecture, or related design setting
- Familiarity with interiors and architectural products, materials, finishes, and sources
- Knowledge of or be able to learn: Adobe Creative Suite, Studio Designer, Microsoft Excel
- Must be physically located in Los Angeles area, with a driver's license and have access to a vehicle
