Job Description

Claude Home is a design-forward furniture and interiors brand serving interior designers and trade clients nationwide, with the U.S. as our primary market. We specialize in made-to-order and curated pieces with transparent lead times and a high-touch client experience. As we continue to scale domestically and expand into international markets, we are seeking a Sales Director to lead revenue growth, build structure, and own the full sales function.

Role Overview
The Sales Director will drive sales performance, manage key client relationships, and build scalable sales processes across the U.S. and expanding international markets. As an online-based company, this role requires a strategic, hands-on leader with experience in trade-focused or high-value sales environments. Initially operating as an individual contributor, the Sales Director will develop a framework to hire, structure, and lead a sales team as the business grows both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
• Own sales strategy, revenue targets, and execution across trade and direct channels in the U.S., with responsibility for planning and supporting international expansion
• Drive overall sales revenue growth while maintaining a high-touch client experience
• Manage and develop relationships with interior designers, trade partners, and key accounts
• Forecast sales, track performance against goals, and report insights and recommendations to leadership
• Build and execute the international sales framework, creating market-specific strategies that align with local consumer behavior and optimize reach for globally sourced products
• Oversee pipeline management to ensure accurate follow-up, communication, and conversion
• Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, and logistics to ensure a seamless end-to-end client experience across markets
• Identify and pursue new growth opportunities, partnerships, and sales channels domestically and internationally

Job Requirements

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in sales leadership or senior sales roles
• Experience in trade, interiors, furniture, luxury goods, or project-based sales strongly preferred
• Proven ability to close high-value deals and manage long, relationship-driven sales cycles
• Experience building and leading sales teams, including role definition, training, and performance management
• Exposure to or experience supporting international sales expansion, multi-market teams, or global client bases
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Experience using CRM and customer support tools (Zendesk, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) to manage pipelines, client communication, and follow-ups
• Highly organized, self-directed, and accountable, with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment, managing time and priorities independently
