Role Summary:
The Trade Sales Manager will own the growth and day-to-day execution of Claude Home’s trade sales channel. This role combines direct sales responsibility with operational leadership, ensuring the trade business scales thoughtfully and efficiently.
You will manage key trade relationships while building the systems, workflows, and internal alignment needed to support long-term growth. As the trade channel expands, this role is designed to grow in scope and responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow trade accounts from initial outreach through order completion.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with interior designers, architects, and trade partners.
- Drive new business while supporting repeat and project-based clients.
- Deliver a consultative, high-touch sales experience aligned with professional design workflows.
- Help define and implement the structure of the trade sales channel.
- Establish and maintain best practices for custom and made-to-order sales.
- Implement and manage CRM, order tracking, and reporting tools.
- Streamline custom order workflows, improving clarity, efficiency, and internal handoffs.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate timelines, specifications, and delivery.
Requirements:
- 4–7 years of experience in trade sales or account management, ideally within furniture, interiors, or design-driven brands.
- Experience managing custom or project-based sales cycles.
- Systems-minded, with experience improving sales processes or workflows.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- CRM experience required.
- Willingness to travel periodically for client meetings and industry events.
