Job Description

Mark Jupiter is seeking a passionate, ambitious, and highly connected Sales Director to lead growth within the hospitality and commercial sectors.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial interiors, hospitality, architecture, furniture, or design sales, along with a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, materials, and exceptional client experiences. You are someone who thrives on relationship building, understands the nuances of the design community, and is energized by pursuing ambitious opportunities in a fast-paced creative environment.

You will work directly alongside founder and designer Mark Jupiter and collaborate closely with leadership, design, and production teams from our DUMBO Brooklyn showroom and workshop.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Develop and cultivate new relationships within the hospitality, commercial, architecture, design, and real estate development sectors

Generate new business opportunities through strategic outreach, networking, in-person meetings, industry events, and presentations

Build and manage a strong pipeline of leads, projects, and client communications

Lead showroom presentations, client meetings, and project discussions with professionalism and preparation

Maintain consistent follow-up and proactive communication throughout the sales process

Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop solutions tailored to client needs

Track project progression and maintain organized reporting on opportunities, outreach, and sales activity

Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals

Represent the Mark Jupiter brand within the design community with sophistication, professionalism, and enthusiasm

Qualifications

7–10+ years of experience in high-end commercial, hospitality, interior design, furniture, or architectural sales

Existing relationships within the architecture, design, hospitality, or development communities strongly preferred

Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

Entrepreneurial mindset with strong sales instincts and closing ability

Highly organized with excellent follow-through and pipeline management skills

Strong writing and presentation abilities

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced design-build environment

Solution-oriented thinker who can proactively identify opportunities and solve problems

Passion for design, craftsmanship, architecture, and custom fabrication

Team-oriented personality with a strong desire for professional growth and success
