The Senior Designer will have a high level of responsibility and ownership of the projects he/she manages and will lead the creation of a project’s comprehensive interiors scheme. The Designer will be expected to take a self-appointed and proactive role in the coordination of interior architecture, programming, space planning, and material selections for approval. The goal of this position is to lead the design, selection, and specification of all FF&E, while overseeing the design and technical coordination for all facets of the interior design package. The Senior Designer will be responsible for guiding projects from concept through completion, managing client relationships, collaborating with contractors and vendors, and mentoring junior team members throughout the process. The Senior Designer is required to have an exceptional eye for creativity, innovative design solutions, and strong leadership. This role will serve as a driving force in shaping both project execution and the continued growth of our design.
- 4-year Interior Design degree from an accredited college or university
- 5+ years of high-end residential interior design experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Studio Designer, Asana, Dropbox, and project management software
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, custom millwork, and FF&E specifications
- Experience leading client presentations, vendor coordination, and project installations
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
