As our New York office continues to grow, we're seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer / Project Manager to lead complex luxury residential projects from pre-construction through final installation.
In this role, you'll oversee every phase of the project lifecycle, partnering closely with clients, architects, contractors, consultants, vendors, and our Washington, D.C. team to deliver beautifully executed homes with an exceptional level of service.
You'll manage multiple high-end residential renovations simultaneously, developing project schedules, budgets, scopes, and construction documentation while ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with the firm's design standards.
As the primary point of contact for clients and project partners, you'll lead meetings, coordinate consultants, resolve challenges, and guide projects through construction, procurement, installation, and final punch. You'll also mentor project team members and contribute to the continued growth of our New York office.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing creativity with technical expertise and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You'll have the opportunity to lead sophisticated residential projects with multi-million-dollar construction and furnishing budgets while working alongside a team that values initiative, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design.
This is a full-time position based in New York City. Fridays are typically remote following the successful completion of the introductory period; however, occasional site visits may be required. Travel outside the New York metropolitan area and occasional visits to our Washington, D.C. headquarters are expected.
We're looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented professional with a passion for luxury residential design and a proven ability to manage complex projects from pre-construction through final installation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in high-end residential interior design, architecture, construction administration, or project management.
- Proven experience managing luxury residential renovations with multi-million-dollar construction and furnishing budgets.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD required; Studio Designer experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of construction documentation, RFIs, bids, change orders, consultant coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and project financial management.
- Experience working on residential projects in New York City is strongly preferred.

Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel outside New York City for site visits, client meetings, and installations, with occasional travel to our Washington, D.C. headquarters.
- Ability to navigate active construction sites and occasionally lift or carry project materials up to 30 pounds.
