Manlove and Company Interiors (MCO) is seeking an experienced, creative, and highly organized Senior Interior Designer to join our team in a part-time role. This position is ideal for a seasoned designer who brings strong design sensibility, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead projects with confidence, care, and professionalism.
The Senior Interior Designer will help guide residential design projects from concept through completion, supporting client relationships, design development, project coordination and collaboration with vendors, contractors and trades. This role requires a refined eye, thoughtful problem-solving, and the ability to balance creativity with the practical details required for successful projects.
The ideal candidate is current with trade furnishings, materials, design resources, and industry trends. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit are essential.
This position is an independent contractor role that reports to MCO’s CEO and Principal Designer. Candidates should be comfortable working as part of a team, collaborating in an office environment, and contributing positively to the studio’s creative process and client experience.
5+ years of professional experience in high-end residential interior design
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong design portfolio
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to supervise trades and contractors
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Microsoft Office, knowledge of Studio Designer is a plus
- Hybrid onsite/remote work environment
