JAMES Showroom is looking for a motivated, personable Sales Associate to join our Dallas team. We're not just filling a role — we're looking for someone who wants to build a career in the luxury design world and grow with us for years to come.
The Sales Associate's primary responsibility is to manage day-to-day showroom operations while providing timely, personalized service to our clients. The right candidate also has the ability to expand beyond the showroom — traveling across our region to meet designers in person, building lasting relationships, and becoming a true ambassador for what JAMES represents.

• Work closely with clients and vendors to provide accurate stock checks and quotes, process orders, and maintain clear communication
through delivery
• Assist in the daily organization and visual presentation of the showroom
• Fulfill sample requests, manage sample inventories, and handle all shipping needs related to samples and product
• Collaborate with our Houston and NYC teams to maximize outreach and build relationships with new and existing clientele
• Support product and system updates as new designs and pricing are received from vendors
• Over time, represent JAMES at designer offices and key touchpoints across the region
QUALIFICATIONS
• A genuine passion for the luxury design and interiors world
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills — warm, clear, and professional
• Superior organizational ability and comfort managing multiple priorities
• Knowledge of the textile industry and high-end design is a plus, but curiosity and eagerness to learn matter most
• Proficient in Microsoft and Google tools; ability to learn our sales and project management software
• Team-first mindset and a collaborative, go-getter attitude
