We’re hiring Designers and Senior Designers to help drive projects end to end alongside our Principal—from concept through completion—at both levels, with title and compensation matched to your experience. We’re looking for self-starters who take ownership, build trust with clients and vendors, and thrive at a fast pace.
Project Management:
- Review project documentation to determine full scope of work, schedules, and requirements; confer with the Principal as needed; and maintain continual two-way communication with the team and clients, keeping all parties apprised of significant events.
- Identify, document, and resolve problems in consultation with the Principal, following up and reporting status to the Principal and/or client as necessary.
- Meet with clients, visit job sites, and travel as needed; and serve as liaison with vendors—gathering information and preparing detailed proposals (with the Purchasing Department) for client review and approval, including the spreadsheets needed to share selections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional interior design experience, ideally in high-end residential projects.
- Proficiency in industry design and drafting software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and the Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Studio Designer is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of construction documents, millwork, and custom furniture detailing.
- Experience specifying fabrics, finishes, lighting, and window treatments.
- Excellent communication and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- A collaborative, detail-oriented team player who works well directly with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Willingness to travel and visit job sites as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to site visits and installations; able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Location & Compensation:
Full-time, based in our Bozeman, MT studio; remote considered within the Mountain West (MT/ID/WY/UT/CO), with travel to job sites. Relocation candidates welcome. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
