We are looking for a Senior Project Architect/Project Manager to join our hospitality team. Our ideal candidates for this position must have a minimum of 5 years in luxury hospitality design and be able to generate a comprehensive set of construction documents in AutoCAD working alongside the design team. Additionally, this candidate will manage the project during construction, answer RFI’s questions, and facilitate the smooth execution of the design though to construction and installation.
AutoCAD, ability to execute a comprehensive set of construction documents including all plans, schedules, specifications, details, etc. Ability to attend on site construction meetings, respond to requests for information, supply additional sketch details as needed, etc. Work with the design team to ensure the successful execution of the completed project from concept through to construction and installation.
Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or related field.
5+ years of relevant work experience.
Extensive hands-on experience and understanding of the design and construction of interior architecture spaces.
Extensive knowledge of building systems, codes and regulations.
Strong documentation and field observation skills with an understanding of how documents translate to contractors.
Able to interpret and incorporate abstract concepts into concise, accurate drawings and details.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, Studio Designer and MS Office.
