Lake Point Creative is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Design Assistant to support our team through the proposal, procurement, and project execution phases of the design process.
This role focuses on managing project details, coordinating with vendors, processing orders, and ensuring a seamless experience for both clients and team members. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Project & Client Support
Prepare proposals, specifications, and client-facing documents.
Review product information for accuracy.
Maintain organized project records and documentation.
Support communication and coordination across project teams.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
Obtain vendor pricing, lead times, freight estimates, and product specifications.
Create and maintain product records and proposals in Studio Designer.
Manage vendor information and assist with account setup.
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Order Management
Process approved client orders and maintain purchasing records.
Track orders, shipments, and deliveries.
Follow up with vendors on production and shipping updates.
Resolve damages, shortages, warranty claims, and other order issues.
Administrative Support
Maintain organized digital files and procurement records.
Assist with reporting, data entry, and project management tasks.
Support internal processes that improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience in interior design, procurement, project coordination, or administrative support preferred.
Experience with Studio Designer is a plus.
