Liason between Principal and outside stakeholders from kick-off to installation; managing the project including client communication and budget
In support and alongside the Principal, collaborate with clients to understand and develop their vision for the project
Responsible for project pacing; moving the project along and managing the speed, accuracy and profitability of the project
Deliver the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors and all stakeholders
Attend site visits and work with architects, builders and project managers to execute plans efficiently
Create existing floor plans, proposed floor plans, electrical plans and furniture plans, elevations and FFE schedules
Strong millwork background
Create renderings with an eye for detail and accuracy
Create all floor plans in accordance with EGD standards
Create mood boards, material boards/design presentations
Assist and oversee furniture sourcing, selection of finishes and all items necessary for the design of the space
Design custom furniture and millwork using SketchUp
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing across all stakeholders
Record, organize and track vital project information
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related field
Minimum 5 years experience in a full-service interior design firm
Chief Architect proficiency preferred, strong AutoCAD required
Strong technical skills including SketchUp, Studio Designer, Basecamp and Google Workspace
Incredibly detail-oriented and strong follow-through skills
Established design aethetic with a portfolio of relevant work
A high level of integrity and adherence to the firm's values, beliefs and principles
Must have a car and valid driver's license
