STOCK STUDIO, a Los Angeles–based interior design showroom and store is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to run daily shop operations while driving new business development within the city’s vibrant design community. This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial, polished, and connected professional who thrives in both luxury retail and relationship-driven sales.
This hybrid role combines daily shop management, in-store client engagement, and outbound sales outreach. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth and successful operation of the showroom and will work to deepen relationships with our existing network of interior designers, stylists, architects, and tastemakers in LA and nationally. This position will require personal outreach to cultivate new clients in the architecture, design and creative communities as well as end users.
1) Excellent written and verbal communication as well as outreach skills.
2) Provide polished and elevated service in client-facing settings.
3) Maintain showroom operations, merchandising, and visual presentation.
4) Entrepreneurial drive to maintain on-going client networks and develop new accounts and sales.
5) Serve as the Sales Lead in-store Tuesday-Saturday.
6) Moderate to advanced literacy in Shopify, Shopify POS, and Studio Designer
7) 2+ years of experience in luxury retail, showroom management, or design industry sales.
Founded as Stephan Jones Studio in 2007, in 2023 we rebranded as STOCK STUDIO to reflect the growth of the interior design studio to include a design showroom/store in West Hollywood, CA. The shop features an evolving curation of midcentury furnishings, rare vintage pieces sourced from Northern France and Belgium, and works by emerging artists, ceramicists, and designers. STOCK also carries a line of new production furniture from Sweden as well as household furnishings.
STOCK STUDIO is positioned as an active design community space with in-store artist exhibits, curated pop-up shops, and other events for local tastemakers and community members.
