Boutique high-end residential interior architecture and design studio based in Westchester, NY seeks a talented freelance design professional to provide ongoing part-time support across custom residential new construction, renovation, and FF&E projects. This role is best suited to someone technically strong, highly organized, and visually sophisticated, who is comfortable supporting projects across multiple phases - from drawing production and presentation through construction coordination. The immediate focus is technical drawing and project support, with potential for increased creative involvement over time as working style and design alignment develop.
Responsibilities:
- Produce and maintain AutoCAD drawing sets, including floor plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, and millwork details
- Support drawing sheet organization and full construction document production
- Assist with project schedules, trackers, and general project documentation
- Flag coordination issues and collaborate with principal on timely resolutions
- Prepare client-facing presentation materials (design boards, drawing sets, samples, spec and pricing documentation as needed)
- Support design development, sourcing, and concept refinement as required
- 3+ years experience in high-end residential interior design and/or interior architecture
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite, knowledge of StudioDesigner a plus
- Solid understanding of construction documentation and interior detailing
- Experience supporting fast-moving projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong graphic sensibility and clean, elevated presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly
- Degree in Interior Design or Architecture preferred
- Based in Westchester / NYC area preferred

This is a remote freelance / independent contractor position with flexible part-time hours based on project workload, initially approximately 15–20 hours per week. We are looking to build a long-term working relationship with the right candidate. While the role begins as freelance support, there is potential for it to evolve into a broader or more permanent role as the studio grows and needs expand.
