About the Role
The National Director of Sales is responsible for setting and executing the strategic vision for Verellen’s sales operations. This leader will build, mentor, and inspire a high-performance national sales team, cultivate relationships with key clients and partners, and drive sustainable growth across established and emerging markets.

This role is ideal for a seasoned sales executive who thrives in design driven, entrepreneurial environments and is motivated by ambitious growth objectives.

What You’ll Do
• Develop and execute national comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets across the U.S.
• Lead, coach, and empower a team of top-performing sales professionals and showroom managers to deliver exceptional performance.
• Drive new business development while strengthening relationships with key accounts and strategic partners.
• Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and refine strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment and execution.
• Provide executive leadership with accurate forecasts, performance reporting, and actionable market insights.

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with significant leadership responsibility,
ideally within luxury furniture or high-end design industries.
• Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing sales teams.
• Strong expertise in strategic planning, territory management, and key account management.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with track record of opening new markets and growing existing ones.
• Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a luxury or custom-manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
• Established network within luxury goods, furniture, or design markets.
