High-end residential interior design firm in Boston seeks interior designer
Candidate will have the skills to be part of a design team supporting senior designers and will assist in the design development of interior projects. Candidate must have a strong mixture of creativity, communication and problem-solving skills while being able to thrive in a team environment.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting the design team to determine scope, budget and schedule of projects; prioritize, delegate and coordinate tasks with project team members; help manage and implement the preparation of client presentations; select furniture, lighting, fabrics and materials; enter information into Studio IT software; prepare for review by senior designers and manage all purchase orders for vendors and proposals for clients.
Qualifications must include an accredited degree in the interior design discipline, 3-5 years of related professional experience. Technical skills should include proficiency in AutoCad, Adobe, Photoshop, Studio IT or related software, Word and Excel.
